“Faith, Surrendering All To God’s Grace,” Zambia Revival Church Holds Its First August Service

Zambia Revival Church held its first Sunday service on the 1st of August with a total of 30 participants including three visitors. They were encouraged to totally surrender and trust in God, for only He knows the plans He has for their lives.

The Bible study was delivered from the book of James 1:2-5 which was about the purpose of trials by brother Matthews. He encouraged the participants to never regard that God is tempting them for God does not tempt anyone, instead, He tests their faith and through trials, He strengthens His people.

The sermon was given by Intern Pastor Joanna from the book of Romans 1:16-17 which was about the righteous living by their faith. She explained that God had always wanted His people to rely only upon His grace, not on their own power for this Scripture was first to give in Habakkuk 2:4 which was the time before Jesus came on the earth.

As Christians, we are on a journey like Abraham, and we do not know where we are going, but we only trust in God that He will finish what He started. Faith is having confidence in things that we hope for but we cannot see them, in other words, faith is totally surrendering to the power and grace of God.

The Bible tells us that only God knows the plans He has for us, plans to give us the future we hope for, therefore, we only need to totally surrender and trust in Him with all our heart, mind, and soul.
