“Faith and Duty,” Zambia Revival Church Holds Sunday Service

Revival church held Sunday service on June 27th with 19 attendants, including two visitors, Gilbert Mutale and Lucas Kunda. They were encouraged to have faith in God as they are serving Him.

The Bible Study was given by brother Matthews from the book of 1Corinthians 15:3-6 which was entitled, ‘believing in what Jesus has’. He shared that we need to believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. According to the Scriptures, the Apostle Paul said this is the reason Jesus came into the world. It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

The sermon was delivered by Intern Pastor Joanna from the book of Luke 17:5-10. She shared that apostles said to the Lord, “Increase their faith!”. He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.”

It is important to pray to God to increase our faith, but we need to know that when are doing the work of God, we should depend upon the grace of God, not our works. We need to work with all our hearts and love. She concluded after encouraging the attendants to be humble and stop questioning God’s power, but we need to have faith and trust in Him.
