On 21st March, Gratia church held Sunday service, and teacher Ivy Simeza of OHS shared the message from 1Kings 3:5-11.
Solomon realized the mercy and grace of God that was upon his father David despite the weakness he had, but he trusted Him and he was called righteous. Solomon asked for wisdom instead of material things because he knew that no one can lead God’s people by money or any material things, but by the knowledge of God.
Most of our prayers are not answered by God because we ask for our flesh desires and selfishness, instead of asking for His Kingdom. We need to seek for the Kingdom of God and His righteousness then all things shall be added to us.
