OHS Morning Devotion Service, Back to Christ

On 25th, September, Olivet high school 20 students with 4 teachers joined to morning devotion. The message was shared by Matthews the acting chaplain. The main Scripture came from the book of Luke chapter 15:1-7.

The Scripture stated, “Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gatherings around to hear Jesus, But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered”, ” This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

He shared that one sinner is ever important to the kingdom of God if a person repents. The main reason why Jesus came on earth is to save man from sin, Matthew 1:12. We can see that Jesus is one who can save us from our sins, we were like the lost sheep, but Jesus came to save us, he shared.

I tell you that in the same way, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Revelation 2:5, “Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first, if you do not repeat, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.”
