Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) Kenya held their first Bible study of the week on June 9th from 9 am to 10:15 am. The Bible study was led by Walter Gor with assistance from Pastor Jane. The main message came from Luke 9:57-62. He sensitized them about being keen disciples of Jesus Christ.
The cost of following Jesus is not physical or monetary gain, but the freedom to leave all things. It is the leave your earthly family for a heavenly one. This message is especially apt during this season of campaigns and fundraising for the Kingdom of God. The Bible teacher and minister pray that the participating students were able to receive abundant grace. On this day Sabina, Edwin, and Elizabeth could also attend the Bible study in realtime, as it was being ministered.
Later on, YEF Kenya could discuss the fate of the group as Elizabeth and Sabina could raise the issue of time not being in their favor. YEF Kenya agreed to change the time of the Bible study to accommodate them from next week.
