Member in Lusaka Zambia gathered together to offer thanksgiving Prayer unto God for AMI 17th Anniversary. Zambia members were called to consider the works of God and meditate upon His good deeds of God from Psalms 77:11-14. Youths urged to know Christ and make Christ Known
A gathering held for two hours listening to the Word of God and offering thanksgiving prayer to God was indeed very graceful. Five brothers and one sister joined from Lusaka regardless of AM members being in their different home towns at this time.
A word of God shared from Psalms 77:11-14 calling everyone to remember the wonders, miracles and great things God has done in lives and ministry should be good enough reason to offer thanksgiving to God in worship and praises. “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds. Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God?”
In prayer and thanksgiving, Africa offered their hearts unto God to say thank you for using His ministers 17 years ago to establish AM. Great prayers of thanksgiving was also made to remember what God has done and is still doing through the current leaders. Hope and prayer was made that God continue to use them to inspire many young people and lead them to the Kingdom of God”.
Walter also shared with the youths that, as AM we are the “Sent”, not “the Sender”. As the sent we need to fulfill the purpose of why we are sent. So, in order to fulfill that we need to know and understand our identity that comes by fully understanding our sender whom we represent. (2 Corinthians 4:5-6)”For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ”.
“We need to understand the heart of God”. “It begins by knowing Christ Jesus and the meaning of the Cross”. “Unless we do this we will not have impact in the lives of young people”. “We need to continually study the word and pray always that we come to know and understand our purpose in this world”. “So we need to remember that the judgement of God is coming and we will be accountable for the time we spent on earth”.
As he was concluding, he stated that we ought not to waste any single time and work diligently with an honest heart
