AM Zambia Leader Teaches OHS Students the Word of God

Rita in her effort to share the word of God (where she taught being born again) visited Olivet High School to share the word during Morning Prayer meeting. Students were so interested in hearing the Word of God.

During the study, student’s hearts were cut deep down to hear that their behavior would make them miss the Kingdom of God. When they understood the importance of being born again and the consequences that would come with not being born again. They became so much inquisitive to know more about the topic. They were able to ask a lot of questions about being born again among them asked by Dina, she asked.” How can I be Born Again? What do I need to do?”

Rita shared with the key passage coming from John 3:1-10. In the teaching she explained that, to be born again is to give up old self and begin a new life in Jesus. Starting a new relationship with God. Living a right and pure life in Jesus. Turn our direction from sinful nature and begins to seek for righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:7. When we are in Christ we become a new creation. The old is gone and the new has come. In order to be born again we need to accept Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. Have faith in God. Without being born again we cannot see the Kingdom.

God loves us and does not want to see us perish (John 3:16). He want to see us in Heaven. We should change and live a life like Jesus lived. Students should change their lives and begin to respect the teachers, parents and their fellow students as well as friends and neighbors.

A man once said, if you are born once you die twice but if you are born twice you die once. We need to be born again in order not to die twice. If we do not let go our sinful lives and turn to God we will die twice, the second death is forever and very painful and shameful. God is just and righteous. If we die in sin we will be judged and condemned but if we change and live a good life for Jesus we will be saved forever from the wrath of God.
